Your flying day in six steps
Book
Book online, by phone or on WhatsApp. If you have a voucher, you redeem it when you book. It's best to book early in your holiday, so there's time for a backup day.
Weather check
We only fly when the weather is safe. Our weather station at the landing field gives us live data. If the weather isn't right, we move your date free of charge.
Meeting point in Bodensdorf
We meet at Gerlitzenstraße 2, 9551 Bodensdorf on Lake Ossiach. You park for free here, right at the landing field.
Shuttle and cable car
Our shuttle takes you to the cable car in Annenheim. The gondola takes you up to the Gerlitzen Alpe. The cable car ticket is not included in the flight price. With the Kärnten Card, the ride up is free.
Briefing and take-off
At the take-off site you put on your harness and helmet, and your pilot explains the take-off. A few quick steps into the wind, and you're in the air.
Flight and landing
Depending on the flight type, you're in the air for about 15 to 30 minutes, out over the middle of Lake Ossiach. You land gently on our own field in Bodensdorf. Lake access and the lido are right next door.
What to bring
- Sturdy shoes you can walk well in
- A windproof jacket: at take-off it's about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than at the lake
- Sunglasses
- Money for the cable car ticket, or your Kärnten Card
We provide the harness, helmet and tandem paraglider. In autumn and winter we also recommend gloves and warm clothes, because you also have the wind from flying.
Take-off site depending on the weather
Our main take-off site is the Gerlitzen Alpe, with about 1,400 metres of height difference down to the lake. Our second site is the Dreiländereck (Three Countries Corner), which we choose depending on the weather, mainly in winter. You book the flight, not the take-off site. If we take off at the Dreiländereck, we tell you the meeting point when we confirm your flight.
