The route: right over Lake Ossiach
From the take-off site on the Gerlitzen you descend about 1,400 metres towards the lake. Our route doesn't follow the shore. It goes in an arc over the middle of Lake Ossiach. For much of the flight, the water is right below you.
Depending on the flight type, you're in the air for about 15 to 30 minutes. On the Thermal flight we use rising air to stay up longer and see more of the lake.
Landing on our own field in Bodensdorf
We don't land on a public meadow. We land on our own landing field in Bodensdorf on the north shore. This is also the meeting point, at Gerlitzenstraße 2. You park for free right at the field and land practically next to your car.

Because the landing field and lake access are side by side, it's easy to combine your flight with a day at the lake. Anyone watching waits by the lake instead of in a car park. Pack your swimming things, it's worth it in summer.
