About us & our base
Who we are, where to find us — and why we are not connected to other providers at the same location.
We are a family-run business in Bodensdorf with our own landing field on the north shore and our own shuttle. Our pilots are certified and carefully selected; additional pilots join us in peak season.
Since 2005 we've been taking guests into the air from the north shore of Lake Ossiach. Gerlitzen Alpe is our main location; Dreiländereck is our second location in the area, chosen according to the weather and especially relevant to us in winter.
Meeting point, shuttle to the mountain railway and equipment are all in our hands. That keeps the flow relaxed — and you'll know your pilots before take-off.
Payment is made directly with us on site or via voucher. Bookable via adventure-wings.com and by phone. We speak German, English and Dutch.

Checked equipment
Gliders, harnesses and helmets are inspected and maintained on a fixed schedule. We only fly gear that is current and airworthy.
Licence & insurance
All pilots hold the legal tandem licence and liability cover. You are fully insured throughout the entire flight.
On-site weather check
Our automatic weather station at the landing site provides live data. If the flight is safe to do, we fly — otherwise we don't.
Free rescheduling
Weather and life are unpredictable. That's why you can reschedule your slot free of charge, as long as no one else is waiting for it.

Don't mix us up.
Several operators fly around Lake Ossiach. Adventure-Wings Ossiachersee is independent: we organise flights directly and work only with certified, carefully selected pilots.
