Tandem skydive: a parachute jump from a plane
On a tandem skydive you get into a plane with a tandem instructor and jump out at high altitude. First comes the freefall, then the parachute opens and you glide down to the landing area. It's short and very intense.
Tandem paragliding: a paraglider from the mountain
On a tandem paragliding flight you take off on foot with your pilot from a mountain slope. A few steps into the wind, then the wing carries you. There's no freefall: you glide calmly through the air and see the landscape below you.
With us you take off on the Gerlitzen Alpe and fly over Lake Ossiach for about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the flight type. You land on our own field in Bodensdorf.
The difference at a glance
- Take-off: tandem skydive from a plane, tandem paragliding on foot from a mountain
- Feeling: freefall on a skydive, calm gliding on a paraglider
- Duration: on a paraglider you're in the air much longer
- View: on a paraglider you have plenty of time to take in the panorama
- Kids: tandem paragliding with us from 5 years
Which one suits you?
If you want the adrenaline rush of freefall, go for the parachute. If you want to float, look around and enjoy it, take the paraglider. For your first flight we recommend the Panorama flight. For more time in the air, the Thermal flight.
