   Swimming on the north shore

   In Bodensdorf, free lake access and the lido are right next to our landing field.

   Up the Gerlitzen

   Take the cable car from Annenheim up the Gerlitzen Alpe, with views over the lake and the mountains of Carinthia.

   Landskron Castle ruins

   The castle ruins above the west shore are a popular place to visit, especially for families.

   Ossiach Abbey

   The former monastery on the south shore shapes the look of the lake and hosts concerts.

   Cycling and boat trips

   A cycle path runs all the way around the lake, and in summer boats run between the villages along the shore.

   Trip to Villach

   The town is about 20 minutes' drive from Bodensdorf.

Lake Ossiach from above

On a tandem flight you take off on the Gerlitzen and fly in an arc over the middle of the lake. About 15 to 30 minutes later you land in Bodensdorf and can go straight for a swim. Book your flight early in your holiday, so there's time for a backup day if the weather is bad.
